Here is a list of specific words and phrases that are used by some people to buy time, avoid giving answers and escape commitment.

If you use these words and phrases yourself, cut them out of your communication v.i.z. thinking, speaking and writing. Words like these make you sound noncommittal, undependable and untrustworthy.
